uv ballast The UV ballast is a power control circuit used for ultraviolet lamps, mainly used to convert AC mains power into stable DC power and control the output voltage and current. The main components of a uv ballast include transformers, rectifier bridges, filtering capacitors, and power transistors. When the AC power is reduced through a transformer, it is rectified by a rectifier bridge and converted into DC power. After that, residual AC interference is removed through a filtering capacitor, and a stable DC power is output. According to the requirements of ultraviolet lamps, rectifiers can control the output voltage and current by adjusting the winding ratio of transformers, the capacitance value of capacitors, and the control circuit of power transistors.
